Group Outdoor Fitness Classes and Group Runs
I offer two group outdoor fitness classes in Magnolia. Both classes meet the needs of all fitness levels. I work hard to provide options for everyone and to differentiate to meet your needs. All classes incorporate hand weights, cardio intervals, sprinting and running. However, all exercises can be tailored to meet the needs of those requiring less intensity.
All group runs are open to anyone. We train using the Jeff Galloway method. This method utilizes run/walk intervals. If you haven't trained this way before please know that it is the best way to become a runner and stay injury-free! All group runs end with 15 minutes of core exercises.
SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 30:
Wednesday - 9:30 a.m., Ella Bailey Park
Thursday - 9:30 a.m., Track Workout at Queen Anne Bowl
Please refer to my contact page for more information on where to find me.
Come give the class a try! The first class is on me so you have a chance to see if you like it. If you decide to join us (and I hope you do) you may purchase a punch card for $120 for 10 sessions ($12 per session) or you can pay a drop-in price of $15. Always remember to bring water to every class!
Personal Training
Just getting back into exercise? Not a lover of big groups? I'd be happy to work with you one-on-one. I charge $45 per hour. I can come to your home or work with you outdoors, whichever suits you best. No gym required! All training sessions are one hour in length and involve cardio, strength training, core work and stretching.
HALF-MARATHON TRAINING
Interested in a new physical challenge but have no idea where to start? Come join us for the Seattle Rock and Roll Half Marathon Training! Even if you are a lifelong non-runner I can get you across the finish line using Jeff Galloway's run/walk method for marathon training. All group runs include a walk break! We run for 4 minutes and walk 1 minute! This is the best way to avoid injury while training your body to run longer distances!
The class always ends with a series of stretches to help you properly recover and be at your best for the next class.
Abbe Jacobson’s workouts are never boring, and she tailors the exercises to your level. She gives low-impact alternatives for those with weak spots like knees or ankles. And she gives plenty of encouragement. Abbe is an absolute peach, making you work hard and enjoy it, too. With the company of great women and the fresh air, you’ll be glad you got up and out in the morning.

Abbe:
I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your hard work and dedication in getting me ready for Mt. Elbrus. You never failed to inspire me, to make me work even when I didn’t want to, to make my workouts interesting and challenging, to change it up enough to keep me engaged and to respond immediately to my request for more work in specific areas. I am certain that I would not have summited this mountain if it had not been for the training regime you developed for me. But even more than that, you have hooked me on what it feels like to be fit and strong. I know I am in the best condition of my life right now and I just want to keep building on that! So thank you for making such a wonderful commitment and helping me reach a big, big goal. You rock!!

Customer Testimonials:
Whole New You Fitness takes a fresh approach to getting in shape. Like a lot of people, I was tired of being stuck in a stuffy gym doing the same old thing. Basically, I was in a rut doing the same old routine.
I've rediscovered the fun of exercise through Abbe's classes. For one, I like the camaraderie of exercising with other people. (Though, if you don't like classes,
you can do 1:1.) Abbe varies the routines to keep it interesting and to give your body new challenges. At the same time, she structures her classes so that folks who are in better shape can challenge themselves while people just starting out can go at a comfortable pace. Abbe's energy, enthusiasm and encouragement are infectious. I highly recommend giving it a try.

“All my friends could not believe that I was doing boot camp!! I was the last person they ever expected to keep up with a rigorous exercise program given some knee issues and lack of a consistent exercise program over the past 5 years. Not to mention I was never a runner or an athlete. But Abbe is so inspirational and so skilled at tailoring a routine to fit your skill level. Because of her, I have changed my priorities and make it out every week and work out at a level I have never achieved before. I feel great about myself thanks to Abbe!”
